The theme will be announced on the 12th of Jan! I am super excited even though I am not taking my O levels! Imagine this....

you are given a THEME…
and you CREATE…
I repeat CREATE… a PROBLEM (only we designers CREATE PROBLEMS for ourselves!)….
and then…. you CREATE… THE SOLUTION…
it is a rigorous process of shaping and re-shaping PROBLEM AND SOLUTION at the same time….
from which you are EXPECTING an unexpected OUTCOME of a PRODUCT SOLUTION (that would most probably be innovative and creative, if you do it right)!

As a firm believer of design eduation, I love our yearly design challenge! Don't you! ;p

Assignment #3

Have a HEART, design for an organization or a society!

Select and do a CASE STUDY of any non-profitable organization/society that you would love to help out. Find out what they do and why you would love to help them out!

The case study should include these details:
Name of the selected organization/society
What do they represent?
What are their activities?
Your involvement with them. (Past, present or plan to be involved)
Immediate NEEDs that you can think of in the organization/society.

I know what you guys are thinking.... what has this got to do with the THEME??? It is not even out yet....!!
Now, that is the best part about designing.... remember EXPECT the UNEXPECTED OUTCOME? so... expect the unexpected please!

We will wait for 12th Jan to kickstart all our wonderful GAMEPLANs (Assignment 2 remember?).

In the meantime, do assignment #1-#3 on your blogs. All these should be transfered to the journals on a later date.
